BUT WHY?

I think many of us are looking for more ways to slow down and connect with our kids.

Imagine those moments when you're really in it, busy, maybe overwhelmed, sometimes distracted. For me, those moments don’t feel like I am making the most of my time with my kids, instead, I am managing my time, managing our experience, from somewhere outside of myself. I've realized what’s so frustrating in those moments is that I crave something more.

I've been navigating the whirlwind of parenting two kids, trying to create more connection amidst the chaos. When I am telling stories with my kids, making puppet shows, building forts, laughing over a good movie or destroying the dinner table with a messy art project --- I feel like I am doing it.

From that feel-good place, I decided to make The Most. The deepest truth to why I am here: time just keeps moving faster. I want to make something for and with my kids. That said, this is the opposite of a solo journey; it's about creating a digital hangout for like-minded families to build something special together.

A BIT ABOUT ME…

I'm Justin, a San Francisco-based TV producer, author, and papa of two. I've spent my career helping creators share their knowledge with the world producing online education for creatives. I'm also the author of the YA memoir, "Bear Boy," a story inspired by two bears and my quest to make the world a better place. Jane Goodall herself wrote the foreword, saying “This is a book that will encourage you to follow your dreams.”

Long before I was a dad, I’ve had a dream of producing kids TV. Then my kids were born and when media entered our home, I realized there are only a handful of shows I actually feel good about my kids watching. "The Most" weaves together this old dream with my intention to relishing time with my kids. It's my commitment to making the most of our time – to be the most playful, creative, and connected we can be. I'm here to build a community of folks who just want to join in the fun of creating art, telling stories and playing.

The deepest truth to why I am here: time just keeps moving faster. I want to make something for and with my kids. That said, this is the opposite of a solo journey; it's about creating a digital hangout for like-minded families to build something special together.

WHY SUBSCRIBE?

Everything is free for now, but in the coming weeks I’ll be announcing some special content for paid subscribers.

I’d love for you to support the project — you can do so for as little as $7/month.

A paid subscription is a meaningful, concrete way to support the work it takes to create original content. I do have an exclusive launch special — The first 15 founding members who contribute $207 or more will get a year of shoutout as the actual producers of The Most Random Stories and a personalized greeting from Howie!

While this is starting as a year long experiment — my dream is to create a full-fledged media network geared towards kids. With enough support, I’d love to grow the ‘Show Me Howie’ show beyond our tiny bedroom studio, bring on contributors and create more commercial-free programming for families.
